Message	limits, drop it a few times doing stupid stuff then turn around and sell it for what you paid for it. They hold their value very well and are great bikes to start off with. It was "MY" first bike as well but that was after racing 4wheelers, dirt bikes, 3 wheelers and anything else off road. I went from a 93 CBR 600 to a 93 CBR 900RR to a 95 Ducati 916 to a 00 Ducati 996 and from that to a house :( . Looking back I would do it all again, the 600 was a great bike to learn on and after a year i actually got more for it than i paid for it. :)
